With the command Object along path, a geometric body is extruded from simple polylines (a 3D body is created along a line/polyline).

How to use it:

  • The object following the path must be on a plane.
  • The Path can be measured on a plane or in a 3D folder.
  • Changed to a 3D view and activate the ‘Object along a path’ function from the measurement ribbon.
  • Select the object that will follow the path, then the path, and last, the base point that follows the path. The 3D geometry would be generated.
