IFC 3D export

To export the entire project as a 3D IFC file:

• Navigate to the ‘File’ menu, and select ‘Export’.
  
• Specify the desired location for saving the project and the filename, and select the file type IFC (.ifc)* in the Export Dialog window, then click ‘Save.’
  
• Now, the “Transformations window” will open. Select any desired transformations and click ‘OK’ to proceed.’
  
  • 1: Select the type of IFC format on which the file will be exported.
  • 2: Add additional information, like the author’s name and organization.
  • 3: Assign specific layers to ‘Dimensions” and ‘Text.’ Or assigned Layers based on the color.
  • 4: Click on the check box to export measurements and photo points, and decide if they should be exported as blocks of points and each color.
  • 5: Assigned a specific thickness to ‘walls, the floor, the ceiling, and doors.’

• When clicking ‘OK’ the file will be exported to the specified location.
