Divide Object

The divide object tool divides an object into equal segments by indicating the division points.

This function can be used with many elements, including lines, polylines, arcs, circles, ellipses, and others. These points can be projected using the Flexijet.

To Divide an object:

• Click or tap the ‘Divide Object’ button from the change ribbon.
  

• Select the object to be divided. In. this example, a line with a length of 20in.
  

• Now, enter the number of segments to be created and press ‘Enter.’ In this case, we will divide it into 4 segments.

• The line was divided into 4 segments, each with a length of 5in.
  

*Note: The Divide object tool will create points at the division points of the elements. For example, an object divided into 3 segments will have 4 points to show the start point, 2 division points, and the end point.
