The 3D view gives a 3D preview of the drawing. With different functions that can be used to look at the 3D drawing.

Functions on the 3D View ribbon:

  • The Rotate Drawing tool rotates the drawing in any direction.
    • The cube on the top right side of the Canvas area can also be used to change the view side.
  • Click on the drop-down menu from Visual Style to select from the different Visual Styles.
  • Different types of filters can be applied to the Filter section.
    • If the “Show walls” filter is unchecked, all the walls from the drawing will be hidden.
    • If the “Show ceilings” filter is unchecked, all the ceilings from the drawing will be hidden.
  • Display room elements:

    By clicking on this function, you select which elements to show on the 3D preview and hide the ones you don’t want to see by unchecking them.
  • In the Visual Styles section, different functions can be activated.

Show dimension and text: By clicking the checkbox, you can display/hide the dimensions and text from the selected folder. Show location points: Your location points could be displayed by clicking on the check box.
Show Measurement Points: Flexijet saves a photo of every point measured using its built-in 5MP camera. Select the ‘Show Measurement points box on the ‘View’ tab to make these points visible. The measurement points will appear as purple points.
Show photo points: If you take any photo points, they will be displayed by clicking on the check box.

How to change the preview settings:

By clicking on the General Preferences window/3D View, you can change the color and thickness of the different parts of the drawing.

Stair step height

The height of the stair treads can be adjusted both in the general settings and in the export dialog for 3D-DWG and IFC.
