The Flexijet Smart Remote App allows you to aim and control Flexijet 3D Next Generation from your smartphone.

To use the Flexijet Smart Remote App:

• Download the app
• Connect your phone to Flexijet. On your smartphone, go to ‘Settings’ and connect to the Flexijet’s Wifi Network.The name will be similar to Flexijet2-XXXXXX. The network password is listed on Flexijet’s connection screen after powering on.
• You may need to direct your Android device to stay connected to the Flexijet2 Network, even though there will not be internet connectivity through this network.
  
• Now, open the Flexijet Smart Remote app.
  

Controlling Flexijet

• To move the Flexijet, using the Smart Remote app, select the joystick from the main screen.
  
• Now, the flexijet can be aimed by holding a finger on the screen and pulling in the desired direction. Release your finger to stop movement.
  
• A fine movement can also be done by sliding your finger on the screen in the desired direction, the Flexijet will move one step.
  
• The Step size and the sensitivity can be adjusted by tapping the ‘Settings’ wheel on the screen
  

How to take photos using your Flexijet Smart Remote App

• On the main screen, activate the camera by clicking on the camera icon.
  
• Now, your camera will be active. When ready, you can take the photo by clicking on the camera icon (bottom left).
  
• If you want to take a photo linked to a measurement point, you have to click on the camera icon that has the laser on.
  
• Then, it will ask if you want to add a comment.
  
• If you click save, your photo will be saved in the project you are working on. And it can be accessed by the drop-down menu under Take a Picture
• Or if it was a link to a point, you can see them, but click on the “show photo points” option in the view ribbon.

Visualize and activate folders

• To visualize the existing folders on your Project, swipe left from the main screen of the Flexijet Smart Remote app.
  
• They can be activated just by clicking on it.
  

Using the commands

• To use any Flexijet Smart Remote app command, click on it and follow the prompts.
  

Additional settings

• Additional settings can be adjusted in the ‘Settings’ menu, and some device information can be accessed from the menu button.
  

*Note: Flexijet can be controlled by the Xbox Controller and Flexijet Smart Remote simultaneously.
