A height attribute can be added to elements. This allows for a 3D visual representation of material and object thickness.

Generally, height is most useful when added to continuous elements such as closed polylines, rectangles, circles, and ellipses. To convert an object to a polyline, see Single Elements to Polyline

To add a height to an object:

  • Select the object. In PC mode, click on the object left. In Touch Mode, use the ‘Select objects’ tool first to select the object.
  • From the properties pane, select ‘Height’ and add the desired thickness according to the drawing units. Positive values will add height towards you, while negative values will add height away from you.
  • You can also add a height to an object by measuring with the Flexxijet. Just click on the button on the right side of the object height. The command window will display “measure object height.”
  • See the results in 3D by viewing the root/project folder.
