SECTION NO: POM 0008 SIGNIFICANT PATROLS

Surf Life Saving Clubs around the state have initiated patrols with significance to celebrate, acknowledge and/or encourage action.

Surf Life Saving Clubs and Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) have supported local and state-wide patrols acknowledging gender, LGBTQIA+, environment, mental health and wellbeing and fallen lifesavers. We are excited to build on the great work of our clubs as we look to embed these initiatives into highlights for our lifesaving season over the coming years.

SLSQ encourages and supports clubs in hosting some or all of the designated significant patrols. We welcome and encourage our clubs to promote and participate in, on or around the designated date, noting that these dates may vary for each club. Significant Patrols include:

Pink Patrol

Blue Patrol

Pride Patrol

Green Patrol

Orange Patrol
