Authors will be notified and the task will appear in the To Do module whenever an object they are assigned to transitions from a published version to a draft (in progress) version, as well as for each subsequent draft version. This ensures that Authors stay informed about any changes made to the object they are responsible for.
A Change to Review box will appear on the object’s Details view, allowing Authors to acknowledge and confirm they have seen the changes.
When Authors need to complete a Change to Review task, they have the option to compare the changes with the latest published version (if available) or the latest draft version. These options function like the Version Compare tool:
- Information added from the previous version to the current version will be highlighted in GREEN.
- Information removed from the previous version to the current version will be highlighted in RED.
Once the object had been reviewed, click the Revision Complete button.
Conditions for Receiving a Change to Review Task
You’ll receive a Change to Review task under the following conditions:
- The user is assigned as an Author on the object.
- The object moves from Published to Draft (In progress) status.
- The change is made by a user who is not the Author of the object.
