The AI Chat Assistant helps you perform advanced searches across your environment’s content through an easy-to-use conversational interface. It processes your search queries and returns relevant results, including direct links to objects, enabling quick access to the information you need.

Setting Up the Assistant
To enable the AI Chat Assistant, admins must first create and maintain a search index for each environment. The assistant relies on this index to retrieve accurate and relevant results, so it is essential to keep the index regularly updated for optimal performance.
Using & Accessing the Assistant

icon, accessible from anywhere in EPC.
- Type your search request into the adjacent window or use the microphone button to dictate your query. Speech transcription starts when the microphone button is clicked and stops automatically when you finish speaking. The query is then submitted automatically.

Rules & Limitations
To ensure optimal performance and efficient data processing, the AI is set by default to retrieve and analyze two objects per query. This approach balances data handling while ensuring the delivery of relevant results.
Organizations do have the option to customize the number of sources by adjusting the CHATBOT_SOURCE_COUNT field in the Advanced System Settings.
