The General tab includes accordion sections for key details about a process, along with accordions for Responsibilities, Associations, SIPOC, and Attributes. These sections provide essential information to define the process, link relevant elements, and capture additional process attributes for a more comprehensive overview.

What is this Process? Accordion

This accordion allows to define the basic information about the process.

  • Parent: The parent Set or Process under which this process is nested.
  • Name: The name of the Process. A name is mandatory for all objects.
  • Seq #: The Sequence Number of the process. This is a numerical value and normally reflects the flow of processes and activities.
  • Unique Identifier: The Unique Identifier of the process. This serves to uniquely identify the Process as per your company protocol.
  • Goal: The Goal of the process. The rich text format allows for text formatting, images, URLs, tables, etc.
  • Scope: Designed to provide analysts, managers, and executives with a comprehensive understanding of the process’s scope. Allows all types of business users to delve into detailed information about the boundaries and extent of each process. This is a simple text field.
  • Description: This field describes the process in detail, including the process procedures. The rich text format allows for text formatting, images, URLs, tables, etc.

This accordion allows to define the process’ Suppliers, Inputs, Processes, Outputs, and Customers.
