If the Reject button is selected in the Review the Audit Definition form, the creator of the audit definition will receive a notification in their Pending Tasks informing them that they need to modify the audit definition.

They will also receive an email notification informing them of the assigned task.

Clicking on either the subject in Pending Tasks or the link in the email will direct the user to the Modify the Audit Definition form. This form is largely a duplicate of the New Audit Definition form, with the exception being that the fields are all populated with previously inputted information. Users can modify almost all of these fields. This form also contains the Review Comments tab from the Review the Audit Definition form. To avoid unnecessary repetition, only the notable aspects of the Modify form will be listed below.

  1. Review Comments

As mentioned, this form contains the Review Comments tab previously described in this manual. Here, however, users can only add, edit, and reply to comments. They cannot delete comments.

  • Notes: This field is populated with any notes previously inputted by the reviewer in the Review the Audit Definition form. Users can still modify the field.
  • Comment: This field is populated with any comments previously inputted by the reviewer in the Review the Audit Definition form. Users can edit or reply to these comments. They can also add new comments.
    • For more details on the comment function, click here.
  1. Send Back for Review

At the bottom of the Modify the Audit Definition form, there is the following button:

  • Send Back for Review: This button allows users to send the audit definition back for review.
    • If upon review, the audit definition is approved, the workflow will end.
    • If upon review, the audit definition is rejected, this process will repeat.
