Under normal circumstances, funds become available on September 15 (for January Term) or March 1st (for Summer Terms). On rare occasions, program providers/vendors may require payment prior to September 15 (for January Term) or March 1st (for Summer Terms).

If instructors need access to funds prior to September 15/March 1st due to deadlines mandated by vendors/providers, they must inform their students and the OIE of an earlier deadline and must receive a signed document from the students agreeing to this earlier deadline (please find a sample agreement on our BuzzNet site).

Copies of signed forms for all students must be filed with the OIE. Funds spent before the general deadline will therefore be non-refundable (the signed agreement should include such information). At no time may instructors access funds that have not yet been received by the College.
