Complete the General tab requirements by filling out all the desired fields.

  • Enabled – Checkbox to Enable or Disable the LDAP Synchronization.
  • Name – the name of the LDAP instance. This is just for the PriApps system.
  • Synchronization Type – select the type of Synchronization is required e.g. users or computers.
  • Frequency – this defines how often the LDAP service will synchronize with this LDAP instance. Options are:
    • Manual – The Next connection time must be specified manually
    • Hourly – At the same time each hour
    • Daily – At the same time each Day
    • Weekly – At the same time each Week
    • Monthly – At the same time each Month
  • Last Sync Time – Last time the LDAP was synced.
  • Next Sync Time – the next scheduled sync time.
  • Send Introduction Email? – Select this option to send an introductory email to all imported LDAP users.
  • Default Password – Password used for new users created during the LDAP synchronization. To use the AD password, leave blank and enable LDAP Authentication in the Settings menu.
  • Default Cost Account – Specifies the default Cost Account that is used for each user that will be set up during LDAP import.
  • Default Quota Class – Specifies the default Quota Class that is used for each user that will be set up during LDAP import.
