4.1. Bundled Software

The following 3rd party software will be installed during the software installation process.

• MySQL – used for the PriApps database
• OpenOffice – used for converting word processing, spreadsheet and presentation documents as part of the Mobile printing module
• Apache web server – used for hosting the PriApps web services, including the Admin UI and MFP UIs.
• Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages – a library of components required to run certain Windows applications developed with Microsoft Visual C++.
• Bonjour – enables the automatic discovery of devices and services on a local network using industry standard IP protocols.

!‘Could not be Installed’ Messages
If any of the bundled software already exists on the computer, a dialog will state this and display the message, ‘Could Not Be Installed’. This is NOT an error message.
