User permissions to print, copy, scan and fax services on MFPs are defined by Roles within PriApps. PriApps is installed with a range of pre-defined roles, however additional roles can be defined to suit most organizational needs.

To add a new Role, select Users & Security from the main PriApps menu, and then select Roles. Click on the Add ( ) button on the right hand side of the screen then select which functions are allowed or not.

Once completed, click on the Save / Confirm button ( ) on the right hand side of the screen to save the all details.

Once a new role has been defined edit the General Tab within a user’s profile to apply a specific role to that user.
