7. Creating & Administering Users

Although PriApps makes it possible to track print usage without having to know anything about users beforehand, it is best practice to create / import / sync users upon installing the software to take advantage of the more powerful features offered by PriApps.

PriApps allows you to quickly and easily synchronize user credentials with an existing LDAP or Active Directory system. This is by far the most common method for the majority of customers.

If you do not have an LDAP or Active Directory system, it is possible to simply import user credentials from a CSV / MS Excel file.
