8.2.7. Configuring Kyocera HyPAS MFPs

Kyocera HyPAS MFPs require embedded applications, or packages, to be installed in order to communicate with a PriApps Application Server.

There are 2 application packages which need to be installed:

1. a Login package – that performs the user authentication services
2. a PullPrint package – that allows users to view and release their print job via the control panel UI

Both can be found in the following location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\PriApps\Priapps Print\addins\Kyocera

Login package

There are 2 Login packages to choose from:

• Login_n.n.n_v1.pkg
• Login_n.n.n_v2.pkg

where n.n.n is the version number.

v1 or v2 refers to the HyPAS API level that the Kyocera MFP supports. All newer Kyocera MFPs support the v2 Login package. If the v2 package does not install, try the v1 package.

PullPrint package

The PullPrint package (PullPrint.pkg) works for all HyPAS API levels.

Both of the Login and the PullPrint packages need to be installed and Activated on the MFP using Kyocera NetViewer.

Install the Login package first followed by PullPrint package.
