If the Reject button were to be selected in the Review/Update AI form, the requestor will receive a notification in their Pending Tasks informing them that they need to modify the action item.

They will also receive an email informing them that an action item needs to be modified.

Clicking either on the subject in Pending Tasks or the link in the email should direct the user to the Modify AI form. This form is largely a duplicate of the Define an Action Item form, with the exception being that the fields are already populated with previously inputted information. Users can modify all of these fields. Listed below are the two other primary differences between the forms:

  1. Comment

Users can access, edit, and/or reply to the reviewer’s comments. Users can also add, edit, and/or reply to their own comments.

  • Comment: This field allows users to input comments (see previous instance for details on this function).
  • Send Back for Review:: This button will be explained below.
  1. Send Back for Review

  • Send Back for Review: This button allows users to send the action item back for review.
    • If upon review, the action item is approved, the workflow will end.
    • If upon review, the action item is rejected, this process will repeat.
