The Incident/Crisis Response Process tab helps users outline how they will respond should a critical situation occur.

  1. Effective Date: This is a date picker that allows users to input/select the effective date of the BCP. It is a mandatory field.
    • To select the date, click on the Calendar icon. It will display a calendar which users can manipulate to show different months/years.
  2. Copy Previous: This button allows users to copy the details of the previous BCP, if applicable.
    • If selected, all applicable fields in the form will be updated according to the information inputted in the previous BCP. Users can then modify the updated fields.
  3. Select the Incident/Crisis Response Process: This is a single-select dropdown field that retrieves a list of incident/crisis response processes from EPC. It allows users to select only one value at a time from the dropdown.
  4. Sync EPC Data: This button allows users to synchronize with EPC. Once selected, the data stored in EPC will be synced with the data that is retrieved and displayed on this page.
  5. Process Link: This link is automatically generated when a process is selected from the dropdown. Clicking the link takes users to the actual process in EPC.
  6. General Plan: This is a description box that allows users to outline their plan should an incident/crisis occur. In this field users can insert headings, bullets, images, tables, links, and media files (as well as change font colors, font sizes, background colors and more).
  7. Process Description: This field is automatically populated when a process is selected from the dropdown. It displays the description of the process.
  8. Tasks: When a process is selected from the dropdown, a list of the tasks associated with the EPC process is automatically pulled up.
  9. Export to Excel: This button allows users to export selected columns from the grid to Excel.
  10. Excel Template: This button allows users to generate an Excel template of the grid.
  11. Import from Excel: This button allows users to import data (inside columns) from an Excel sheet into the grid.
  12. Submit Form: This button allows users to submit the form.
    • Users should not submit it the form until they have gone through each tab.
