This tab has its own scoring system.

RTO: The RTO is defined as how much time a user is willing to lose before regaining use of their applications. If access to the network and your applications were to be down when you came into work, how long would you (or could you) work without the support of these applications? Depending on the criticality of an application, it can range from no downtime is acceptable to several days.

  • RTO = Recovery Time Objective
  • It can be simply stated as “How long can we be down?”

RPO: The RPO represents how much data loss will be acceptable to users. If the systems supporting your business processes were to fail, could the data be recovered by re-entry, re-scanning, etc.? If the data can be recovered, how much of a loss is acceptable?

  • RPO = Recovery Point Objective
  • It can be simply stated as “How much data from this process can we afford to lose?”

  1. RTO & RPO: These are both single-select dropdown fields that display the list of RTOs and RPOs, respectively. They allow users to select only one value at a time from the dropdown.
  2. Comment: This is a description box that allows users to input their comment. In this field users can insert headings, bullets, images, tables, links, and media files (as well as change font colors, font sizes, background colors and more).
  3. Submit Form: This button allows users to submit the form.
    • Users should not submit the form until they have gone through each tab.
