The system will also ask clubs to identify which competitors are playing the role of the Surf Belt Swimmer or the Surf Belt linesman. Surf Belt races are set up with 1 competitor (swimmer) and 4 Assistants (linesmen)
Once you have created the team name, click on the edit button.
1. You can filter between eligible competitors or assistants using the drop down box next to the qualified checkbox.
Add your Belt Swimmer first from the ‘Competitors’ list
Change to ‘Assistant’ and click on the ‘search’ button.
A new list will be generated of all the eligible people that can be added as ‘Linesmen’
2. As you add competitors and build your team you will see what what Role Type they have been assigned to ie: Linesman or Surf Belt Swimmer
Note: Belt Swimmers must conform to the age and gender settings of the contest.
