If an event organisers permits multi-organisation teams to enter into a contest then ensure that in the ‘Event’ – ‘Controls’ section you have ticked the checkbox ‘allow combo teams’
Club Officer SEMS users will not be able to create combo teams but the event organiser with EventAdmin functions can.
To create a multi-organisation team follow these steps:
a. Open up the contest that you wish to add the comb team to.
b. Click the Add button and type in the team name eg: MNC Combo
c. Tick the Multi-Org checkbox.
d. Ensure that the organisation displayed is at either the Branch, State or National Level (not a club)
e: Click done.
How to add competitors to the combo team.
a. Highlight the name of the combo team and click ‘edit’.
b. Click on the house (see image below) and then click on the little arrows to filter down to find the name of the surf club for one of the competitors
c. Eligible competitors will then be listed and you can select and add to the team.
d. Click the Done button
d. Repeat the above steps to go to another organnisation to find and add another competitor.
