Run Cycle for a contest of 30 competitors – board race (example)
1. Run Menu, Round Sub Menu and select Contest.
2. Round – create first round draw – 3 heats (which will produce draw with 15 competitors in each heat)
3. Round Draw – view and print draw
4. Results – enter results for 3 heats (top 6 placegetters)
5. Define Next Round – Create Semi Round with 2 heats (to produce 8 competitors in each semi round – select 6 top competitors from previous round)
6. Round Draw – view and print draw
7. Results – enter semi final results for the 2 semi heats (top 6 placegetters)
8. Define Next Round – create Grand Final (top 6 placegetters to produce grand final with 12 competitors)
9. Round Draw – view and print
10. Enter in Final Results
ROUND DRAWS
Round Draw will be displayed.
1. User can ‘swap’ competitors around. Tick checkbox for two competitors that wish to change marshalling positions for
2. Click on the ‘Swap’ button (located bottom of screen) to initiate the swap change.
3. Add Person to the Draw
4. Remove Person from Draw
5. User can Lock Draw (recommended)
6. User can ‘Print’ the draw
7. Run Round – take user to the Results screen.
RESULTS
Entering Results
1. Results Menu
2. Results Entry Menu
3. Confirm contest name is correct
4. Click Edit
5. Using the place column add result place
6. Status column – change if competitor did not compete.
7. Once results have been entered – click SAVE
Note: example is 30 competitors for Male Board Race. Entered in top 6 placegetters for each of the 3 heats.
DEFINE NEXT ROUND DRAW
Click on ‘Define Next Round’
Takes you back to the Run – Rounds screen
1. Check that contest is correct
2. You will see that you are up to Round 2
3. Select Round Type (Semi Final)
4. Select number of heats
5. Select how many place getters from previous round to bring through to this next round.
Using example contest: bring top 6 place getters (18 competitors) from previous round heats to make 2 semi finals heats.
6. Save
7. Click ‘Generate Draw’
Proceed creating rounds to you get to Grand Final.
Enter in Grand Final results and then the contest is complete.
