The Forum Settings consist of settings that apply to all of the forums and forum groups within the instance of Social Squared.
The initial settings allow you to set pagination options for
- Topics Per Page
- Posts Per Page
- Users per Page
Maximum File Size Limit
If a users adds an attachment to a post, they will have to adhere to the maximum File Size Limit.
Allowed Upload Type
The Allowed Upload Type allows you to restrict attachments based on their file types.
Show Tags
Show Tags enables the tag option when creating or responding to a topic. Tags allow content to be found more easily using the search.
Show Sorting
Show Sorting allows for the sorting options to be shown or hidden from each user.
Show Recent Activities
Recent Activities displays at the bottom of the forum groups so that users can always see the latest activity.
Show Notifications
Displays or hides the notifications pane.
Email Options
The email options are used for the Post and Reply to Post feature. More information can be found under “ Email Options”
Email Template
The Email Template settings allow you to define the email that is sent to the user following a new post.
