Email Alerts

Email alerts are a great way for your users to be notified of changes to topics that interest them. There are a number of ways of subscribing to email alerts in Social Squared

1. Forum wide alerts can be enabled by clicking the Subscribe to Forum link within a forum. You can also subscribe other users by clicking Subscribe Users.
   
   
   
   
2. Topic wide alerts can be enabled by clicking Subscribe to Topic at the topic level. You then receive an email notification whenever a new post is created for that topic.
   
   
   
   
3. Subscribe for an alert when creating a new topic. When you create a new topic, receiving alerts is really easy as there is a checkbox that is selected by default to receive alerts. If you do not wish to receive alerts for new replies, uncheck this box.
