Adding Topics using the Social Squared Phone App

By clicking on a forum link, in this case “Feature Requests” link then topics page will be loaded for the respective forum.

There are header links that the logged on user can see based on the access level. If the logged on user is a ‘System Account’, then three links are available as topic’s page header.

1) *Add new Topic *– The link redirects the user to a page where he can add a new topic.
2) Download Topics CSV (comma separated values) – It is similar to Forums CSV.

3) Unanswered topics – By touching the link only unanswered topics, topics that include no answered posts, will be displayed on the page. Answered/Unanswered posts will be discussed later on this page.

On “Add new Topic” page a user with the “Add New Topic” access level which is set via Social Squared Web Part can add a new topic. Topic includes subject and message.

Message content can be added by using Rich Text Editor. A user can also add Tags to his new topic and take a picture which be submitted as a post attachment to the topic.

Another option is to add a topic by checking “Post Anonymously” checkbox on “Add new Topic” page.

In this case ’Name’ and ‘E-Mail’ extra fields are displayed. New Topic’s will be posted on behalf of ‘Name’ field value which is Ashot on Figure 6.
