Before you can begin to add topics to Social Squared, you will need to create your Forum Groups and Forums. The structure is that Forum Groups are created perhaps for departments, projects or high level subjects. For example, you may have the following structure:

Forum Group Forum Topics
Marketing Conferences SP Fest 2019
Web Site Web Site Design Issue
Sales EMEA Sales How can we improve sales in EMEA?
Do we have contacts in France?

An example can be shown below:

Example Forum

To configure your forum groups:

  1. Click onto the cog icon on the left hand side of Social Squared.

  2. The tool pane will display on the right hand side, and you can click Add Forum Group.

  3. Provide a Title for the Forum Group.

  4. Click Add.

  5. The new Forum Group will appear under the Forum Groups tool pane list.

  6. You can click Edit or Delete to change the Forum Groups.

Once you’ve created your Forum Group, you can now create Forums within your Forum Group.
