By installing Social Squared on your Microsoft® SharePoint® environment, five site collections features allow you to use Social Squared functionality. The five site collection features are:

  • Social Squared Forums
  • SocialSquared Forums Active Users
  • SocialSquared Forums Popular Topic
  • SocialSquared Forums Tagging
  • SocialSquared Reporting

To administer Social Squared 2013/2016, you must activate the Social Squared Forums site collection feature on at least one site collection.

Use the following steps to activate a Social Squared site collection feature:

  1. In the browser, open the top level site of the site collection where your site exists.

  2. Click the Settings icon, and then click Site settings.



  3. On the Site Settings page, under Site Collection Administration, click Site collection features.

  4. On the Site Collection Features page, locate the Social Squared features and to the right of each feature, click Activate.

    To the right of Social Squared Forums click Activate
