Purpose: This section provides guidance to Operations Centre Supervisor (OCS) and Senior Operators on strategically managing SurfCom to ensure efficient operations, optimise resources, and align with organisational objectives. It aligns with the following units of competency:

Scope: This procedure applies to Operations Centre Supervisor (OCS) and Senior Operators responsible for the strategic management of the operations centre.

1. Overview:
   1.1 As an OCS and Senior Operators, your role is crucial in demonstrating leadership, coordinating emergency communications centre operations, maintaining standards of emergency service delivery, and effective communication in the workplace.

2. Resource Optimisation
   2.1 Analyse operational needs and allocate resources accordingly
   2.2 Collaborate with stakeholders to share resources, coordinating operations effectively.
   2.3 Review resource allocation regularly to maintain standards of emergency service delivery.

3. Operational Planning and Coordination
   3.1 Develop comprehensive operational plans and communicate them effectively
