Weatherlink.com is the online weather station platform run by Davis to which data may be uploaded.from any of the following Davis station/logger types:

Logger-based accounts

  • PC’s connected to a USB or serial logger and running Weatherlink for Windows;
  • Mac computers with a USB logger running Weatherlink for Mac;
  • 6555 WeatherlinkIP loggers;
  • Weatherlink Live, while formally a standalone device rather than a traditional logger, effectively functions as a logger type;

Stations uploading via mobile/cell phone networks

  • Vantage Connect units;
  • Davis Enviromonitor stations;

The service was originally launched in about 2009 when the WeatherlinkIP loggers were announced, but has since progressively expanded to accept uploads from the other devices and configurations listed. Weatherlink.com 2.0 (see below) was introduced in late 2017, providing many extra features and a completely updated presentation.

Weatherlink.com is now amongst the largest online global weather networks (over 26,000 users worldwide in late 2017) and is a Davis-only platform – only Davis stations in one of the configurations listed above can upload data to the service.
