In general, troubleshooting for Meteo-Pi Ethernet uploads will follow the same pattern as for WFL itself and will not be repeated here. However, there are two main areas in which MPE differs from WFL:
Meteo-Pi Ethernet is obviously not a WiFi device, and therefore any WiFi-related instructions for troubleshooting are irrelevant to MPE. Like most other Ethernet-only devices, there should be few issues with network connectivity for MPE provided the network is functioning normally and the normal DHCP service is available,
Updating firmware on Meteo-Pi Ethernet requires a special procedure: Because it uses a different microcontroller from WFL and with more limited memory, MPE is unable to download and install firmware directly itself. Instead, firmware needs to be downloaded separately and pushed to the logger via a special STM utility. This procedure is detailed in the MPE instruction manual.
NB Because it uses a simpler user interface with more limited upload functions it is expected that MPE firmware will need updating only rarely.
