About Zone Mapper
The Observit Zone Mapper is a feature available in OEC, which allows users to find vehicles that have resided in an area during a specific time. Using the list of vehicles, it’s easy to find vehicles of interest and request video from them. If the requested vehicles are online, the upload of video will start as soon as the request has been received by the vehicles.
All requested videos will be available in OEC under its respective vehicle dashboard. Any GPS equipped vehicle connected to Trafikportalen can be found in Zone mapper. To ensure privacy, regular users can only view and access info on their own vehicles. Users with special privileges, such as law enforcement agencies, may see all vehicles and request video from each affiliated operator.
