Begin by searching for a vehicle using its vehicle id in OEC, then in the vehicle overview, select the “Damage investigation” tab. A list of journeys in and out by the vehicle will now be visible, several details regarding the journeys are shown as well:

  • Date and time
  • Recording id of the video
  • Direction of passage
  • Link to the video
  • Link to reports generated for a passage
  • Snapshot of the vehicle licence plate

This view shows a list of journeys made by the vehicle with the licence plate MLB84A.

Click the Web player-link to view a journey in or out of the depot, and a new window will open.

Known issues

If no recordings of your vehicle are available, solving the problem can often be quite simple.
There are two issues that are common, but other errors could occur:

  • The licence plate on the vehicle is damaged or dirty.
    Check the status of the plate with the vehicle engineer at the depot.
  • Vehicle has incorrect vehicle id or licence plate registered in OEC.
    Search for the vehicle in OEC, click on the Details tab and make sure that the registration number entered matches the actual plate on the vehicle.
    Also make sure that there is a checkmark next to “Inspect vehicle”.
