Due to security the password settings options are only available to users with the highest administrator rights.
From here, it’s possible to tighten security by enforcing stricter rules for user passwords.
- Password minimum length
Passwords must be at least eight characters, with no upper limit.
- Number of categories
Makes passwords harder to guess when any of the following must be included: uppercase or lowercase letters, numbers, symbols.
- Max password changes in 24h
Controls how many times a user can reset their password during a day.
- Number of passwords that cannot be reused
If set to zero, the same password may be used twice in a row. If set to one, a new password must be used when a user resets their password.
- Days until password expires
If you have temporal users, this allows you to have their account expire when their time is up.
- Max number of login tries before account is locked
Reduces the risk of a successful brute force attacks.
