Installing DDC
If a DDC server is installed and configured, the process for end users to utilize the DDC app via OEC is very simple.
To use DDC, both AMA and DDC need to be installed on the device.
Go to a holder with a compatible device, select the “Inventory” tab and click the “Advanced” button on the right side.
Using the dropdown menu to the right side of “ddc” (marked in yellow), select the latest version of the app, then click the yellow “Do” button on the right hand side menu.
If the vehicle is turned on and the conection with the device is good, the app will be installed within a few moments.
When refreshing the page, the app version as well as time and date of the install will be visible. The DDC app is now ready to use.
Using DDC makes it possible to change camera settings etc as if logged in to the camera via local LAN.
