Some devices in OEC can be accessed directly, using a special Observit application called Device Direct Connect (DDC).

How to use
If DDC server is installed and configured, it’s a simple process for end users to utilize the DDC application in OEC.
To use DDC, both AMA and DDC need to be installed on the device.
Go to a vehicle with AMA and DDC installed on a device. Then click on the yellow “AMA” button, and a new page will open.
Here you’ll find additional information about both the device and installed apps.
To access the device, click on the “Go to device” button, and the connection will open in a new window.
Good to know
Caching in the web browser often causes problems when changing devices, so refreshing the web page, clearing the cache, or using incognito mode / private browsing might be necessary.
Devices in vehicles might not always be available due to problems with network, power supply or external circumstance, so if no connection is available, try again in a while.
