Garages is the lowest tier in the hierarchy when it comes to sorting vehicles in OEC, from here managers can perform operations on multiple or single vehicles as well as the whole garage.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Install apps or upgrade firmware
- Fetching inventory reports of devices
- Accessing people counting statistics
- Fetching and viewing recordings
- Move and remove vehicles
In larger transit and public transportation organizations, local managers at a depot are often assigned one or more garages in OEC, to reduce the work load for managers with bigger areas of responsibilities.
