The customer tab shows a summary of useful information on your partners and customers.
In the customers section you’ll see the names of all customers, any connected email addresses, and the number of:
- Users
- Vehicles
- Free NVR’s
A customer can have holders, holders are vehicles such as buses, trains, and trucks etc. A customer may also have cameras, people sensors or similar devices.
For partners, you’ll see the names of your partners, their connected email address, and the number of:
- Users
- Children (customers assigned to that partner)
A partner of Observit can manage and create Customers. A partner doesn’t have any holders, cameras etc. A partner may have one or more customers.
Adding partners and customers
To add a new customer, click on “New customer” and a popup will open.
Input the new customers name, any email address you wish to assign to the customer.
As well as the name of the default garage where your new vehicles will be placed.
Likewise to add a new partner, click on “New partner” and a popup will open.
Input the new partner’s name and the email address you wish to assign to the partner.
