Functions and area of use

• When a vehicle passes through an entrance or exit of a depot fitted with the equipment for Damage Investigation (abbreviated to SFV or DI in OEC), the vehicle is identified by a camera that registers the license plate.
• If the license plate belongs to a registered vehicle, it will enter the journey of the vehicle into a database.
• The cameras will record a series of videos to capture all sides and angles of the vehicle. An operator can generate a report of the damages to the vehicle.
• The cameras will record video even if the internet connection is lost, and as soon as the connection has been reestablished, previously recorded video will be available for viewing remotely.
• Images shown in this document may differ from the actual view for different partners, customers, or individual users.

There are two different ways to access the Damage Investigation tool, either by using the vehicle id to search for a specific vehicle or go to a traffic area outfitted with Damage investigation to view journeys in and out by all vehicles associated with that site.
