The Lightning Conductor Web Part can be configured to summarize the data from the data source, such as, displaying the total number of issues or the total monthly salary paid to employees. Depending on the column type, the summary types available are: count, average, minimum, maximum, and sum. You can specify more than one summary type per column.
To apply conditional formatting:
- On the Columns tab, in the Column Settings section, click the summary icon
next to the column that contains the value which you want to summarize.
The Configure Summary Functions dialog is displayed.
- Select the Type from the drop-down list, and add a Display Text (or title) for the Summary field. Depending on the column type, some functions may not be available.
- Click on the green plus icon
to add the summary function. This will allow you to select options such as the Display Format, whether to apply the summary to All Data, Page, and/or Group, and also Remove the summary function.
- Click on the Display Tab to modify, if necessary, where you want the summary rows to appear: Top, Bottom, Top and Bottom. These settings correlate to the options in the previous step for summary rows for All Data, Page, or Group.
- Click Save to apply the summary function.
