Building upon our previous enhancements to the audit execution phase, we have streamlined the evidence collection phase within the Audit Planning & Execution workflow, prioritizing efficiency and clarity.
Key Changes:
- Simplified Evidence Collection Interface
We have redesigned the evidence collection interface to offer a more intuitive experience for collectors.
- Field for Evidence Result Description: Collectors now have the option to provide a description of the evidence result through a dedicated rich textbox. This addition ensures that each sample is accompanied by essential context.
- File Uploads: Collectors retain the ability to upload files as evidence, facilitating the submission of supporting documents.
- Improved URL Support: Collectors can now easily add URLs as evidence. Instead of using a rich textbox, collectors can simply provide the URLs along with their display names. These URLs are then displayed in a separate grid and can be removed as needed.
- Evidence Tracking
We have added a new grid to the Collect Evidence form called Evidence Summary. This grid provides a comprehensive log of all collector actions related to evidence (including descriptions, attached files, and URLs), ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the evidence collection process.
- Improved Auditor Review Process
To simplify how auditors review collected evidence, we have replaced the Test Information accordion in the Validate Requirement form with the more intuitive sub-accordion, Evidence from Collectors. Nested under the main Evidence accordion, this sub-accordion provides access to all collected evidence for the linked test. Auditors can use this interface to trigger a third round of evidence collection, if necessary.
- By viewing evidence individually, auditors can access samples from each round of collection. This includes any information provided in the evidence result description, attached files, or URLs.
