11.6.1.1. Evidence

In this section of the Validate Requirement form, users can manage evidence for requirement validation.

1. Evidence from Collectors: This sub-accordion serves as a container for all the evidence gathered by the assigned evidence collectors.
   • For more information on the purpose and functionality of this sub-accordion, click here.
     

     !!This sub-accordion is only accessible in the form after the collected evidence has undergone review and approval.

2. Describe the Evidence Result: This is a rich text field that allows users to provide a description of the evidence.
3. Attach Evidence: This is a file attachment field that allows users to upload evidence for requirement validation.
   

   **Attached files are recorded in the Evidence Repository grid.
   
   

4. Input URL to the Evidence: This is a text field that allows users to input the URL for the evidence.
   • The expected format for the URL is ‘http://example.com’.
5. URL Display Name: This is a text field that allows users to specify a display name for the URL.
   

   !!If no display name is provided, the URL will be listed as is.

6. Add Evidence Link: This button allows users to add the linked evidence.
   • As links are added, they populate the below grid.
     
     • To delete a link, select the corresponding Delete ( ) icon.
       

       *To confirm the deletion of items in the grid, click on the Save Changes button or simply click outside the grid. To undo deletion, click on either the Discard Changes button or the Undo ( ) icon.

       *Added links are also recorded in the Evidence Repository grid.
       
       

7. Request Specific Evidence: This button allows users to request specific evidence for requirement validation.
   • If selected, it will reveal the evidence request section, where users can select the recipient and provide a message.
     
     • Send Request: This button allows users to send the evidence request to the selected user.
       • The selected user will receive the Attach Evidence form.
     • Cancel: This button allows users to cancel the evidence request and hide the section.
       

       **Evidence requests are recorded in the Evidence Repository grid. When the evidence is sent by the assigned party, the corresponding row in the grid updates to reflect the sent files or links, along with any response message provided.
       
       

The Evidence Repository grid provides auditors with a comprehensive overview of the evidence handling process. It logs all auditor actions related to evidence, such as uploading, requesting, and receiving evidence, including URLs.
