Sweep the bare foam with thickened epoxy

Mix up epoxy thickened to a slightly runny ketchup consistency and use a clean squeegee to sweep a thin coat over all the bare foam. Take your time to fill all the open foam cells on the surface, scraping off any excess.

Sculpt all Corners

Radius all the outside corners as desired to at least a 1/2” radius. Make sure all inside corners of the boat top are filled to at least a 1” radius. Sand and apply more epoxy as needed to assure a nice clean surface. Sight down the deck edge to make sure it is true and fair. This is your chance to fine tune your boats shape to exactly how you want— take your time to get it just right. Make sure you have sanded all surfaces to ~80 grit.
