Fillet and Tape Interior Spots as Needed

While the boat is upside down there are spots in the interior that are going to be a lot easier to work on. If you have not removed the temporary bulkheads this will be a good time to remove them as it will give you more space to work. Areas such as the structural fillets and tapes for the mast beam are one of the areas that is going to be a lot easier to do while the boat is upside down. This area needs a 1/2” radius fillet with two layers of 6oz glass tape extending for a total of 2” on either side of the fillet. Another spot that could be a lot easier detail is the deck to hull joint. The deck to hull joint also needs a 1/2” fillet and one layer of 6oz tape. Be sure to tape the deck to hull joint inside the rear flotation tanks at this time also.
