Glue on Doublers- On a flat surface layout the bottom panels. Glue the BOTTOM DBL panel onto the bottom panels using epoxy thickened with a small amount of micro balloons to a surup-like consistency. Make sure to apply a generous film of epoxy to both surfaces before assembling. Place weights onto the panel for some clamping pressure. Ideally, you will see a bit of squeeze out along the edge of the doubler, indicating enough glue in the joint. You can use a couple small pins/nails in the panel to keep the panels aligned. Be sure to recheck panel alignment periodically as you apply weight as the panel can have a tendency to “float” out of position. Let cure fully before removing the weights.

That side of the panel should be laminated after the doubler is bonded on.

I see from the schedule that the Btm Dbl doe s not get a lamination before it is fixed to the Hull panels. When does it get laminated?
