Apply Layer of Glass on Bottom

Target laminate weight for the entire bottom surface and the bow should be greater than 24oz. This is to provide extra protection for beaching the boat and putting it on a trailer. Prep all the surfaces sanding to 80 grit and make sure they are shaped as desired. Lay a layer of glass cloth (6oz or 8.8oz) over the entire area overlapping onto the finished panels by at least 1”. Do not glass down into the trunk, trimming it to the edge of the opening. Once the epoxy is green, apply two fill coats of epoxy with a roller.
