7.1. DBP Settings

In this module, the primary requirement for users is to establish a connection between DBP and EPC, enabling data retrieval and integration.

1. Connection to EPC: This category covers settings for establishing a connection to an EPC server.
   • Base URL: This is a text field that allows users to input the base URL of the EPC server, specifying the destination for data retrieval.
   • Username: This is a text field that allows users to input the username required for the connection.
   • Password: This is a text field that allows users to input the password associated with the username.
   • Test: This button allows users to verify the connection to the EPC server, ensuring that the provided credentials and URL are correct.
     • Upon testing, a message box in the upper right corner will indicate success (green ‘OK’ message) or failure (red message detailing the error).
   • Default Environment: This is a single-select dropdown field that retrieves the list of environments from the provided EPC server. It allows users to select the target environment for data retrieval.
2. Save: This button allows users to save the form and apply the connection settings.

!To ensure changes take effect on the platform, users must refresh the cache by pressing CTRL + F5.
