Once the extension request has been sent, the assigned manager will receive a notification in their Pending Tasks prompting them to either approve or reject the request.

Clicking on either the subject in Pending Tasks or the button in the email will direct the manager(s) to the Approve or Reject Extension Request form.

  1. Save Form: This button allows users to save the form.
    • It will remain in the Pending Tasks folder.
  2. Reject: This button allows users to reject the request.
    • If selected, the action owner will receive an email notifying them of the rejection, and the due date will remain unchanged in the Execute the Action form.
  3. Approve: This button allows users to approve the request.
    • If selected, the action owner will receive an email notifying them of the approval, and the new extended due date will be applied to the Execute the Action form.
