On top of that, there is an additional indicator called the Bradford factor. It takes into account both the frequency and duration of absence and let us identify employees whose absences have a significant impact on productivity, which can lead us to think about potential actions.

In this case, Melinda May has the most significant impact given that she had 8 separate absences, which were squared and multiplied by the total number of sick days (Bradford Factor = S2 x D):
