Overview

This document aims to answers questions and provide guidance about how to use empower HCM report.

The document will cover the following areas:

  • empower HCM – slicers
  • empower HCM – each page explained in detail.

empower HCM

The report provides a complete organizational view of HR data, aiming to help the end user identify attrition trends, understand demographic data, identify patterns and trends in absence data, find areas for improvement in HR strategy, employee satisfaction and company productivity. Insight into the pace of employee turnover in particular serves as a key indicator for HR teams to assess retention efforts and understand organizational dynamics.

Reports consists of 8 pages and 2 drill through/hidden pages.

Slicers

The top section of the report shows slicers, which allow slicing and dicing of data in various ways.

The below table explains each slicer available in the report:

Slicer Explanation
Date This slicer allows you to select the time period for which you want to analyze the report.
Resource Name This slicer allows you to select the name of the resource (worker) regardless of whether it is an employee or contractor.
Job Description Description of a job, as a collection of tasks and responsibilities that are required of a person who performs a job.
Resource Hierarchy This slicer shows the hierarchy consisting of the legal entity where the resource is employed and the department.
Worker Type This slicer allows us to select the type of resource: employee or contractor.
Leave Plan Select one of multiple Leave and Absence plans that can be created with the goal to, for instance, accrue at different frequencies, define grants differently, etc.
Leave Type Select the types of absence that employees can report (PTO, sick leave, family leave, etc).
Leave Plan Status Select the status of leave plan, which can be active, expired, future.
Year Select the financial year for which you want to analyze this report.
Month Select the month range for which you want to analyze this report, starting from January of the selected year.
Bucket Option Select different types of age division of workers.

Once the filters are provided in the above-mentioned slicers, the report will automatically update the rest of the report.
